It has just been that kind of day week:’(

People just have no clue what parts they need for any of our brands. After spending hours finding out what they need, the shops call back to cancel the orders. Too many of those “ really?....F*ing REALLY?!?! ” moments with “specialty” auto repair shops that just don’t know what they are doing messing with our cars. To add to that, we have to get tech training done and I have a mountain of webinars to complete. ALSO!!... we are going to have an event at our Volvo section tomorrow where we are getting 2 brand new XC90’s for people to see and drive. Kind of like an open house deal. So we gotta get everything ready for that. We are a guy down today and I have to carry his work load. Next, i’m getting married at the end of the month (big show this time, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! was just through civil services and a small dinner). I sent some items to my wife through USPS Priority International and they haven’t arrived. She is stressing about that and I am trying to juggle work and a solution to the packages. Well, she ain’t having non of it and is a bit cross with me at the moment. I take that to heart because I love her more than life itself. But damn homes, things are going crazy like a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . I need to take a breather, regroup, and attack!!!

So..... how’s about some “boring” cars doing awesome things? Please :]

Dude, we are going crazy right now trying to set up the interface for the new XC90. All diag will be through the car’s router and ethernet network. The systems in it are beyond high tech! We are setting up our dealer networks to be able to connect the the XC90’s for scheduled service and diagnosis. Yes, vehicle diagnosis are internet based. OBD2 and CAN systems are the past. On-board routers and vehicle network communication have started. We are all going to diiie!

New Volvo has a problem? Plug in the ol’ ethernet or communicate with the car’s network.
